Before we start this chipping lesson, it pays to understand the difference between chipping and pitching

 

Chipping Lesson 1 - The Address For The Chip

, Simon Holmes, one of the world's best golf instructors, will go over chipping address to avoid the heel catching in the grass.

Key Points:

  1. Get the shaft perpendicular to the ground to take the heel out of play
  2. Address the ball on the toe of the club head
  3. Adopt a putting address
